Show KEITH RICHARD ON BEC: You were there another two months, then, because of that. .. KEI: Because of Drew Pearson. So he's no friend of mine (laughs). APRI 2 2001 So anyway we ended up in Tehran and were taken to the hospital. We were there a couple of days while delousing took place and finally we could take a hot shower after that. Then we were flown from Tehran, to Saudi Arabia to a camp. I don't even know where it was. From there were sent to Cairo, Egypt, where we were taken aboard trucks. We were in American hands since Tehran, at the American air base. So we were then in the control of the Americans. From Cairo, we landed at the airport and they had another convoy ready and took us down to Attica, the southern part of the Suez Canal to a rest and recuperation camp there. It was out in the middle of the desert. We stayed there two weeks and we went back to Cairo and flew from there to Naples, Italy. Naples had just been bombed the year before badly.
