In fact his father's wife, who was my grandfath r m th r h di d i h n he married another lady. This is my great grandfath r. marri d an th r lady d th n he came over. In fact, the daughters he had then- he lived out in Pl a ant Vi w. h y had of course, been to different locations, but this is where he settled at a plac out in Pleasant View. Three of his daughters I remember. You go by the names of that. That s about the ones that had farmed Pleasant View, because they' re all recognized as some of the first families that were out there. BEC: Is that right? They were the founders? DAL: Yes. Then he had a son or two- they would be brothers to my grandfather, half brothers-while he was over here. The one half brother, I knew him. He lived right here in North Ogden. My father, after I was born, I was only about two years old, he built a house just half a block over on the next comer here. BEC: Is that house still there? DAL: Yes. It's still there. Then, when I was married, I bought a small garage-house, so to speak, and moved it over here right below that, on the next lot below, where my father's house was, where I was raised. My wife and I lived there for thirteen years. Then I had this house built here, where we are now. BEC: This is a great location where your house is now. DAL: Yes, right by the park here and so forth. We always enjoyed it here. BEC: Where did you attend elementary school? 5
