Abstract Roy Bird (b. 1925) served with the 42nd Infantry Division between 1943 and 1945. His unit was in France and Germany. He was wounded and sent to El Paso, Texas, where he remained until the war ended. Bird also talks about his trips to Europe and military reunions. 41 pages.
