In this matter he does not bring us under the society rules. Sheldon Jackson College opened Sept 7th with a class of 6. All is working delightfully. I am expected to address Synod in St. Louis next week. I hope you can be in Pittsburg soon. <br> Capt. Pratt passed examination for Major and has been here tonight in good spirits. <br> A good report from Dr. Barrows has reached NY.
