M. C. A., W. C. T. U. and Rescue Mission societies.
Subscription price...$1 per year
Entered at the Salt Lake City post office as second-class matter.
O. S. BOWMAN, - EDITOR AND PUBLISHER
Office, Rooms 1 and 2 Wasatch block.

THE active preparations for the coming Territorial Sunday School convention indicate that it will be one of the most interesting and instructive ever held in Utah. These annual gatherings are of incalculable assistance to the workers and benefit to the cause. By their means the experience of all is concentrated within the reach of each individual, and a general knowledge of the conditions and results in an entire district is obtained. And more than all, the enthusiasm of a live convention gives an impetus to the work which lasts from one year's end to another. The teachers and superintendents in reach of the convention who fail to attend do an injustice to themselves and to their schools.

THERE is little doubt that a political tidal wave swept the country a week ago, and it is only two years since a similar wave of like dimension swept the country from the opposite direction. The frequency of these upheavals indicate two things: first, there is a profound discontent in the popular mind at the trend of public events, and second that the people are determined to find a remedy, though ancient traditions and party affiliations must be sacrificed to do it. The latter is a good sign. The former is not.

HEATH M. E. CHURCH.
The revival meetings during the last week have been well attended and have been of great interest. The work is constantly growing better.
There will be revival services every night this week in the church except Saturday. Everybody who can is urged to come every night.
Now that chair business, don't you let it get out of your mind that you can give one dollar to buy a chair if you will. To this date we have twenty-six given. Fanny Manning, Rev. Loudell, J. R. Foulks, Nellie Foulks and Merl Foulks are the last. Seventy-five people are in this city who read the REVIEW who can spare a dollar for this fund, and never miss it. If you can't give the dollar for a chair ask your friend and write to your friend about it. Hurry up and give the chair and we will invite you to the dedication before Christmas. We regret very much that Miss Brigs had to return to her home in Denver last week, she is a noble Christian girl and a great help in revival meetings.

In a little while you will want something good for your Thanksgiving dinner, The Durst Grocery Co. is the best place in the city to buy groceries, not only for Thanksgiving, but all the year around.
