Sweazey, <br> Salt Lake City, Utah. <br><br> My dear Mr. Sweazey:- <br><br> Your letter of recent date, to Mr. Craig, comes to the office during his continued absence in Porto Rico. I write immediately, however, as I know that he would like to have you notified that you have authority to do the work which you have said was necessary in order for the preservation of the building. <br><br> Very sincerely yours, <br><br> Susan H. As the estimate for the roof repairs ($65) did not come until after our appropriations had been made, we would suggest that you charge up that amount under school expenses, as we have made that appropriation large enough to cover some extra expenses. <br><br> |

In this letter to George B. Sweazey, Susan H. Pingry announces Mr. Craig is in Puerto Rico and that he has given Mr. Sweazey authority to preserve a building. She notes the roof repairs will cost $65, and instructs Mr. Sweazey to include it under the school expenses as will be covered by the Department of School Work of the Presbyterian Church in the U.S.A. Mrs. Pingry is the school secretary of the Department of School Work. Mr. Sweazey is the principal of the Salt Lake Collegiate Institute of Salt Lake City, Utah. |
