A history of the William Stewart School, 1891-1940

It is the purpose of this study to present the history of the William M. Stewart School and its predecessor the Normal Training School of the University of Utah from 1891 to 1940. This record presents a study of the aims, practices, and accomplishments of the Normal Training School of the Uni­versity of Utah from the year 1891 to 1919 and of its successor, the William M. Stewart School from 1919 to 1940. This work includes the chief events in the history of the Normal Department and the School of Education of the University of Utah, which influenced the practices in the Normal Training School and the 'William M. Stewart School.
