Description 1. Time was when a man or a young man could walk into any barber shop and get a shave; not in recent first did it about sixty-four years ago when I was come clear, some vague--still linger in my mind. I must have acted casual about it; after all, I was fifteen and everybody knew that a young man shop stiffly self-conscious, climbed into the chair a bit awkwardly and announced in a pretentiously self-confident voice that I would like a shave.
