Mr. Jacobs has been an ardent supporter of the "Saga." Many of his excellent writings are found in the "Saga." We will greatly miss nis contributions. Mr. Jacobs was born in Canada iDut came with Mt. Pleasant as an infant and lived th^r3 until 1932. He was a graduate of Utah State University where he received the distinguished service award in 1959. ¦ He served as an officer of the U.S. Forest Service 40 years. He wan an active member of the LDS Church. He died Feb. 26, 1987. 12
