Show Annual Water Conservation: 26 Acre- Feet 6The Development of an Educational Package in Landscape Water Auditing and Irrigation Scheduling was proposed by Utah State University, Department of Plants, Soils, and Biometeor-ology, with endorsement from The Nature Conservancy. The program will include the production of three videotapes on proper landscape irrigation and water auditing procedures. Each videotape will include Microsoft Powerpoint ™ presentations along with video footage, computer drawings and animation, slides, and narration. CUWCD will be given copies of all of the videotapes to distribute throughout the District to assist in public education. This educational package is expected to directly reach 200- 300 professionals and students. Many more individuals will benefit from improvements in landscape management practices as a result of this program. 11 |
