Show Alpine Dry Creek/ Fort Canyon Pipeline Annual Water Conservation: 3,600 Acre- Feet 6Dry Creek, which flows on the east side of Alpine, and Fort Canyon on the west are the sources of much of Alpine City's irrigation Water. During spring flows, losses in Dry Creek due to seepage can reach approximately 60 percent of the total flow. In order to greatly reduce these losses, Lehi and North Bench Irrigation Companies constructed 7,200 feet of PVC pipeline to carry water from the Alpine Diversion ( on Dry Creek) to nearby Fort Canyon. The conserved water is being used to increase production of alfalfa and wheat. Project Location ^ * ^ > ' « h J ^ |
