Show 6Three Provo, Utah parks have switched from culinary water to support their vegetation. The Lions Park and Kiwanis Park built small pumping stations to convey water from adjacent canals to their existing sprinkling systems. The South Fork Park is supplied through a concrete wetwell and a buried pumping station constructed in the park adjacent to the South Fork of the Provo River. Lions Park, 1280 North 1000 West, now uses water from the adjacent Spring Creek Canal. City Springs South Fork Park South Fork Kiwanis Park, supplied by the Upper East Union Canal, is located at 1100 East 100 North in Provo. Improvements on additional parks in the Provo City Parks system, which are not included in the Credit Program, have been completed. Other projects are planned to be implemented over the next several years. |
