Show Strawberry West Mountain Sprinkler Project Annual Water Conservation: 700 Acre- Feet CiThis project is a collection of 36 farmers in the Payson West Mountain area who have upgraded their on- farm irrigation systems from flood to sprinkler ( handlines, wheelines, and pivot) and gated pipe. This change was made possible by the recent conversion of open channel canals to pressurized mainlines by the area water wholesaler; Strawberry Water Users Association ( SWUA). The project is divided into four separate groups of farmers sharing common locations and laterals. |
