GT: Did your family have land up in Allen Canyon? AD: Yes. GT: Did they farm it? AD: Yes. GT: Did they farm it in the time that you can remember? AD: Yah. GT: Do you and your family still own that land up there? AD: I think I do, a little bit, from the papers that I've seen. It's not very big, just a small one. GT: Part of an allotment? AD: Yes, which I never knew until they came and told me. GT: Oh, really! How long ago was that? AD: Four or five years ago. GT: Did you ever hear your dad talk about getting an allotment of land up there? AD: No. GT: He just had some land there. AD: Yes. GT: Did they spend the summers on it up there or did they go up there in winter too? |
