AD: No. GT: Were you able to go to junior high? AD: Yes. GT: And where did you go to school? AD: I went to Denver. GT: You went to Denver. Do you remember what school you went to there? AD: I went to the Good Shepard Home. GT: The good Shepard Home. Catholic? AD: Yes. GT: I see. And were you in a boarding school, did you live in a dormitory and all that? AD: Yes, it was a home for girls. GT: I see, and why did you go over to Denver? AD: Well, I had some problems here. GT: Uh huh. It seems strange that they would send somebody from Utah to Colorado. How long were you over there? AD: Three and one half years. GT: So you spent most of your junior high years over there. AD: Um hum. GT: And then did you come back here? AD: No, I stayed in Towaoc with an aunt. They didn't let me come home. |
