It has become, in effect, the national -) library. The Egyptian exhibit includes •everal works of Aziz Surayal Atiya. one of the foremost Egyp- /rJ\tian historians snd a medievalist of international reputation. These are: "The Crusade In the loiter Middle Ages," "Egypt and Ara-gon," snd "The Monaster-v of St. Catherine in Mount Sinai." Dr, Hassan Ibrahim Hassan. chairman of the Department of History and former Dean of the Faculty of Arts of Fuad el Awal University, Cairo, has two volumes of his works on the "History of Islam" on exhibit. Tflbo Hussein ft\' J "An Egyptian Childhood" and Its sequel, "The Stream of Bays." and also "On Pre-Islamlc Poetry" are the principal works displayed . by Taha Hussein Pasha. ' Ahmed Amin Ibrahim Bey, president of the People's University of Cairo, and Director of the Cultural Department of the Lea-jrue of Arab States, is represented by his autobiography. The works of Siakl Muhammad Hassan Include "The Treasurer of the Fatimtdis," "The Arts of Islam" and "The Arts of Iran in the Islamic Period." § Tewflk El Hakim's reprcsenta-1 tive works on exhibit are i "L'Olseau d'Orient" and "Maze of | Justice." - L'SIS.
