Sur ces texl.es meanes. une traduction de la Bible a ete ecrite en arabe. Vlt la rarete du «papier» en ce temps-la, les scribes d'alors ont surcharge ces textes par une narration de la vie des Saints, de la premiere epoque des Chretiens. Selon le Dr Wendell Philipps, president de l'lnstitut arnericain d'Etudes biologiques. la valeur de ce manuscrit atteindrait un million de dollars. E n apprenant cette nouvelle, le Professeur Allbright.de l'Universite de Johncs Hopkins, a declare que l'Egypte pout etre. fiere d'une decouverte de si grande valeur qui est la plus important^ du monde en matiere de manuscrits.
