Show CONTRACT FOR DELIVERY OF WATER This contract made this _______ day ef . 1934, pursuant to tha Act of Congress approved June 17, 1902 (32 Stat. 386), and aeta mandatory thereof and supplemental thereto, all of which aeta an commonly known and referred to aa the Reclamation Law, and particularly pursuant to tha Act of Congress approved December 21, 1988 (45 Jtat. 1067), designated at the Bouldar Canyon Project Act between the United 'States of America, hereinafter referred to aa United tatea, acting for this purpose by Harold L. Ickes, Secretary of tha Interior, herainafter styled the Secretary( and tha State of Arizona, acting for this purpose by the Colorado River Commission of Arizona pursuant to Chapter 3 of the 1929 Session Laws of Arizona. 2. WHEREAS, pursuant to the direction of the said Boulder Canyon Project Act there is now under construction a daza known aad referred to hereinafter as Boulder Dam, in the main stream of the Colorado Hirer at Black Canyon, which dam will create a storage reservoir having a mtimji water eurfaee eleratioa at about one thousand two hundred twenty-Bime (1229) feet above sea level (U. S« Geological survey datum), and a capacity at the date of eoapletion of about 30,900,000 acre-feet, and 3. «HKRKA5, the Secretary is required by the said Boulder Canyon projeet »ct to use said dam and the reeervoir created thereby, firat.
