Show The applicant hereby releases the United States from any and all claims for loss or damages on account of (1) the exclusion-of said lands or any part thereof, from the irrigable lands of said project, or (2) tb failure. to supply water for the irrigation of any part of the lands hereinbefore described when such exclusion or failure is due to (a) the destruction by flood, erosion, encroachment, or other action of the Colorado River, of the levees erected by the Bureau of Reclamation along the banks of said river, or (bj a change in the location of said levees when such change is considered necessary by the proper officials of the United States to provent the destruction Of said levees from the said causes. Land so excluded shall be relieved from payment of all construction and of operation and maintenance charges which • otherwise would thereafter become due from the lands so excluded. I, T.m. A.
