Show PART II PRESENT STATUS OF IRRIGATION Irrigated Lands (1965) The land area of the Upper Colorado Region comprises portions of five Rocky Mountain States, totaling 72,234,000 acres. A total of 1,621,500 acres or about 2 percent of the land area was irrigated in 1965. The ir- rigated lands are shown in Table 1 below and on three subregional maps on the following pages.
