Show PART II PRESENT STATUS OF IRRIGATION Number, Type, and Size of Farms Livestock farms, other than poultry, are "by far the most common type of agricultural enterprise in the Upper Colorado Region. Field crop and general farms are of equal number (Table 13). About 63 percent of the dairy farms in the region are found in the Green River Subregion. Vege- table farms are significant only in the Upper Main Stem Subregion.
