Further Information |
This page has five sections. The first section is about a parlor meeting to be held for the Woman's Christian Temperance Union and a free kindergarten that was opened. The next two sections continue about the kindergarten and a concert to be held to support it. The fourth section describes a summer fundraiser for the Woman's Christian Temperance Union selling ice-cold water. The last section is about commencing deaconess work in Salt Lake City, Utah. The name Professor Sullivian, located in the third paragraph of the first article and only on this page, appears to be a misspelling. Mr. Sullivian is to hold a concert sponsored by the Woman's Christian Temperance Union to benefit the Free Kindergarten Association. On the following pages in Vol. 3, notices of the same event instead have the name Professor Sullivan: No. 5 p6, 7; No. 7 p7; No. 44 p15. |
