Show THE CHURCH REVIEW

Territorial S. S. Association.
By the kindness of Rev. Mr. Russel[l], we are able this week to give the Sunday School workers an opportunity to read his paper. "The Teacher's work and Responsibilities," presented at the recent territorial convention. This address was very well received and it is hoped that all Sunday School teachers will read it carefully. There are a few schools which have not yet paid the pledges made at the convention. Prof. J. A. Smith of Ogden is the Secretary and Treasurer. Kindly forward the money to him as soon as found convenient. Take your Sunday School papers that some one else may read them. "It is more blessed to give than to receive."

The Teachers Work and Responsibility.
Whatever may be said of the responsibility of the Sabbath School to its adult membership, you will all agree with me that its one great design is to promote moral and religious instruction. No more worthy or God-honoring work is befor |

This page has a section for the Territorial Sunday School Association and an article for the Second Methodist Episcopal Church of Salt Lake City, Utah. The first section begins with a reminder for Sunday schools to pay pledges, and then includes a talk by Rev. Russell about the importance and responsibilities of Sunday school teachers. The article for the Second Methodist Episcopal Church is about the new officers of the Ladies' Aid Society, attendance at the Waterloo Sunday School, the Sunday school missionary collection, and the canvass of door-to-door missionary work. |
