But on with the Big News ••••• and we'll let Brother Juniper tell you about t he memor able day at Nashotah House, a Theolo gi cal Seminary in Wisconsin • • •• • . Last Spring Father was no t i fied that his seminary would be giving him an honorary Doctor of Divi nity de qrem at Commencement on May 18. He was graduated from Nashotah in 1914. We all be gan to make plans f or the event. Brother Juniper lefft first, as his prep school, Wa-yl and Ac a demy at Be ave r Dam , Wisconsin, was having a reunion, and he wanted to enjoy vi s i ts with old fr iends. On Monday, May 16, he took a bus into Milwaukee and went to the airport to me e t Father, Joan and Helen. Had to wait three hours - forward door of J umbo Je t i n Denver wouldn't open •.. passengers had to walk up long fl i ght of stairs to r ear doo r ••• ai rline wouldn't t ~ke responsibility of c arrying Father up ( he' s not s upoosed to cl imb long flight s of stRirs) •.• had to take later plane. The Rev . ' Curtis Brown and his wi fe Nancy, whose house gue5ts we were to be, met us i n Milwaukee and dro ve us all to t heir home in the town of NashotRh. Tuesday was spent at the alumni meet inq and vi s i tin g with old friends.
