Show Part III 3. Compromises on burner performance, reliability, or emission guarantees are considered not a viable solution and will not be considered acceptable. 4. Both shop and field costs are to be minimized but a reduction in quality shall not increase the "risk of failure". Positive, sound engineered solutions are required, not any "maybe" or "it should work" attitude. If a specific shop test is required to prove a solution is feasible, then a prototype shall be built and a shop test shall be performed. If a solution to Part I was not possible within the boundary constraints of the boiler, define the constraints which must be changed giving their new addresses (new dimensions) . Part IV Prepare a detailed report complete with detailed drawings defining the solution and installation of the components and evaluation of the overall system with an honest probability of percent of success and built in margin percent for each specification requirement. Schedule V Parts I, II and III must be complete by April 26, 1992. |
