I got a little bit angry at him when he told me my mentality. I said, "I will tell you why. Why should I give up my heritage for yours, because yours is actually trying to imitate mine?" And I said, "All of Christianity had its roots in Judaism. You will say that you have the religion, that the Old Testament was fierce and that Christianity is more gentle and the religion of love. But to me, it is not a religion of love because they have persecuted. They made a business of persecuting the Jew. That seemed like their sole purpose was to persecute the Jews. Peter at first did not want any Gentiles in the Church. He wanted them all Jewish because they were just another Jewish sect. Studying the Essenes and the, what do you call it? The Sadducees and the Pharisees were the Nazarenes. They were just another Jewish sect in the Synagogue. But finally when Peter relented, and they started taking Gentiles into the church, the more Gentiles that came into the church the more they started to hate the origins, to hate the Jews.
