That ' s what I arr , and that's what I expect everybodj to be . We're all different. So, then after the Tercantile business , we carre back to --we decided to sell out. The kias were growing up and we were afraid that they woulci int,errrarry. We didn ' t like that . 'ti e C.icin't like to live in Provo. Pea.rlrr=ans lived down there . He rrarried rry first cousin , and I was at the wedding . So , after that , why , after all those years , we decidec that it was ti~e to get out of Provo . T~ere were no Jewish people there , so we l ~ ft Provo in 1963 . where did we corre? 'tie carre to S-:.lt Lake and opened up a store on 2nd south . In 1965 rry brother - in law died , and by that ti~e t~eir boy had gone and rry sister didn ' t know what to do . She was going era zy. He had two stores . So , they sold one out and she said to ~e , ''Norrr·an , you better take charge of the oth e r store . " So , she turned the store ov-er to Lorothy and rryse 11 and that was on 2nd south and State Street . wnat was that store called? That was called Sol ' s Clothes Shop . And did he have all kinds of c lathing? All kinds of rrens ' and boys ' clothing and boots. so, we took that over in 1965 , after he died , and rry sister let rre run it. |
