Show Peace vigil celebrates human diversity, unity Event Jan. 18 features the upbeat, engaging music of Red Grammer The Fourth Annual Young People's Peace Vigil, held in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., is January 18 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Utah State Capitol Rotunda. The Young People's Peace Vigil is an evening of celebration in which the beauty of the human race is alive with diversity. It is an evening of entertainment during which people of all ages and ethnic backgrounds will sing, dance, act, and speak on the theme of "The Power of Oneness." ~ The purpose for holding an event ing in the San Fr~cisco area, will be with us to share his singing and acoustic guitar skills through a spiritual song Praise be to Thee. Logan Coffeehouse Jan. 15_ On Friday, January 15, the Bridger Folk l'v1usic Society will sponsor an evening of music at the historic Bluebird Cafe. Performers for the Coffeehouse include Dale and Barbara Searcy, Pat Wright and Joe Fanner, Maya Huppi . and Krissy Gunn, the Garden Variety String Band, and Dan Steinke. The show starts at 7:30 p.~., but come early to get a good seat. It only costs $2 to get in, so come and support your local acoustic musicians.
