Atiya University of Utah Salt Lake City, Utah 84112 My Dear Aziz: I've just returned recently from a trip to Baghdad and about three months all over Europe and considerable time spent in New York. You can always contact me through my Honolulu address or through my London address, which by the way is not the Grosvenor House. I keep a permanent secretary in London - I've had her for 18 years. Grosvenor House never knows when I'm there, although I keep a permanent apartment there. If you tried to reach me at Grosvenor House, that's the reason I missed you and I'm terribly sorry. I will be eagerly looking forward to the arrival of your Festschrift. It's very kind of you to send this to me, and it will be a great joy to receive it. By all means send me the Curriculum Vitae on Nayra and her husband. All I can say is that I will do my best in their regard, and I certainly won't do them any harm. I have no idea what my future schedule will be. I've got to go to Japan for a few days before Christmas and then spend Christmas with my mother, my sister, Merilyn, and her husband in California and then back to Hawaii. Afterwards, I'll probably be heading out to the Far East, but I may go to Europe and the Middle East, I can't be sure. I've been wanting to get back to Egypt again under the new regime, and I have been encouraged by everyone to do so and may try to get there in the near future. Do let me know |
