Patrick 12 June 1973 SUBJECT: Overseas Part-Time Teaching Appointment TO: Assistant Dean for Overseas Programs University College University of Maryland College Park, Maryland 20742 Dear Sir 1• I am forwarding for your consideration an application for part-time teaching. The application is submitted in accordance with Department of the Air Force (DPPEC) ltr, Identification of Potential Instructors-Education Services Program, 10 November 1971 _ 2. Per your instructions, I have enclosed four copies of the Personnel Record Form, the appropriate transcripts, and have requested letters of reference from the academic sources noted. 3. I have also indicated those courses which I would feel qualified to teach. It is regretted that reference to such courses could not be based upon a current copy of the undergraduate catalog. However, the only catalog available at the University of Utah Libraries was the Graduate School catalog for 1970-72. Due to my pending departure from Utah for overseas assignment, expediency dictated that this catalog be used. It is hoped that the courses so listed will be sufficiently indicative for your purposes, and that your consideration will include related undergraduate courses. 4. My mailing address until 6 July 1973 will be: Major Robert B. Patrick, 15B Officers1 Circle, Fort Douglas, Utah 84113. Subsequent to that date I will be reassigned to Izmir, Turkey, and the following address will apply: Major Robert B. Patrick, CMR 2361, Det 5, 1141st Sp Acty Sq, APO New York 09224. It is my understanding that the University of Maryland offers courses in Izmir, and it is my hope that I can uStiinlciezreel ymy academic training in this program. |
