Page 1) One-page typewritten letter on Rutgers University letterhead, dated February 5, 1957, addressed to Dr. Atiya from Cyrus R. Panghorn, Chairman, Voorhees Assembly Board. The letter thanks Dr. Atiya for his speaking engagement at the "Tuesday Assembly series", returning a photograph and an honoraium check for Dr. Atiya. Pangborn also asks Dr. Atiya if he would like to grant permission for others, upon request, to have a tape recording of Dr. Atiya's presentation. Page 2) One-page typewritten letter on Rutgers University letterhead, dated January 14, 1957, from Cyrus R. Pangborn to Dr. Atiya. Contents of the letter include thanks for Dr. Atiya's "speedy confirmation" of his speaking engagement at Douglass College's Voorhees Chapel on January 29, 1957. The topic of Dr. Atiya's speech will be "Religion in the Middle East."
