Dear Dr. Atiya: How about Wednesday, February 28th, at $ p.m. for the manuscript lecture, 8 p.m. that evening for one of the two lectures on the Crusades and 8 p.m. Thursday, March 1st, for the second lecture on the Crusades. If these dates are agreeable, please let me know, and I shall announce the topics as indicated in your letter of July 28, 19$0. We are planning to hold them in the Social Science Lounge Room, Firestone Library. Unfortunately, most of the days in February immediately preceding the 28th are already taken by other public lectures. The plan is to hold your lectures under the joint auspices of the Departments of History and Oriental Languages. We shall be glad to offer you as honorarium for the three lectures |125. We shall also pay your traveling expenses and entertainment while here. If Mrs. Atiya wishes to come with you, we shall be glad to pay her expenses and have her as our guest. We shall look forward to seeing and hearing you. I shall tell you about my trip to Egypt when we meet.
