Show Puns lampooning the Humbug are more common than puns in the Humbug-whether they are funnier depends upon whether the listener likes attempts at printed collegiate humor or prefers to let such efforts die an unrecorded death. Despite the perennial jibes at the Humbug, most readers find enough amusement to warrent the three-nickel investment.
