An irrigation project has b8en constructed at an estimated cost of $862,260.78, - 82,112 acres of land now• being under ditoh. Up to December 1, 1914, the Indians had brought under cultivation 6147 __cres, and lessees cultivated 7,113 acres or a total of 13,260 acres, thus leaving £"8,852 acres of land now actually under ditoh but not cultivated. Under present conditions, this. land.must all be brought under cultivation and beneficial use ma.de of the v/ater by July, 'ry, 1919, else there i3 danger of forfeiture.of the valuable water-rights attached to tha land, as fully set forth below. The Act of.
