Sir: I have the honor to call your attention to a matter con- -cerning myself and.others situated in my position. I am trying 'to- prove and~establish the fact that I am member of the Indian tribe-now located on the Uinta reservation. I base my claim on the fact that my mother was a member of the Ute tribe of Indians, thereby entitling me to the benefits these Indians are receiving from, the Government. I do not wish to enter into a long discussion over this matter but I have left with llr.
