They had their houses by a stream. Then Bear, coming out here where the road ran, coming out here, sat down. The next time that they was her, she was sitting here closer. The people, going after her here, shot but couldn't kill her. They couldn't kill her. She turned into something like stone. They couldn't kill her. Also that human smelled bad; he had a bear sell.
