Show And the Grand Jurors aforesaid, upon their caths aforesaid, do further present: That TSE- NA- GAT, otherwise called PA- 1700- TACK, otherwise called EVERETT HATCH, late of the Navajo Springs Indian Reservation, in the county of Rontesu-. a, in the Stale u, nd District of Colorado, heretofore, cnt to wit, the twenty- eighth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, within the boundaries of the State and District of Colorado, and within the limits of said Navajo Springs Indian &? vi within the jurisdiction of thi& court, Reservation, Abeing then and there an Indian and a member of the Ute Tribe of Indians maintaining tribal relations with said trice, in and upon one Juan Chacon then and there being within the limits of said Indian reservation and within the State and District afcre-un3awfully said, with force and arms, feloniously, Awi11fully, deliberately and premeditatedly, and with malice aforethought, and in an attempt to perpetrate a robbery of said Juan Chacon, did make an a3 3au. lt; and that said Tse- na- gat, otherwise called PaMvoo- tach, otherwise called Everett Hatch, divers leaden bullets from and out of a certain gun, commonly- called a thirty thirty rifle, then and there loaded with divers cartridges, which said cartridges were charged with gunpowder and with the said divers leaden bullets aforesaid; which said gun, he, said Tse- na- gat, otherv/ ise called ? a- woo- tach, otherwise called Everett Hatch, with both his hands then and there had and held, at and against and upon said Juan Chacon, then and there being wits in the limits of the Indian reservation aforesaid and wi- tfoin the jurisdie- tiora of this and within the State and District aforesaid, Athen and there felon- couri unlawfully iously, Awillfully, deliberately and premeditatedly, and of his malice aforethought, and in an attempt to perpetrate a rcbbery of said Juan Chacon, did shoot off, send forth and discharge, with intent then and there him, said Juan Chacon, to kill and murder, and that said Tse- na- gat, otherwise called Pa- Woo- tach, otherwise cal'ed Fverett Hatch, then and there with the divers leader bullets aforesaid by him, said Tse- na- gat, otherwise called ^ a- woc- tach, |
