If wee fall fhort of the Rule, in fomc thing or other goe afrray, it is our humble and eamefr requefr unto all our godly learned Brethren, that they will be plea· fed, Err anti comiter trumftrare viam ; but if the way wee walke in be found, upon feri0us and marure confideration, to be agreeable to the rules of the Gofpell (as wee verily beleeve it is ) let all the up· ~ight in heart be in treated, in the name of the Lord Jcfus, not to judge or fpeake evil! of the wayes of Chrifr before his people; But rather feeke how to addre!fe themfelves, and to call on others to w_alke in the firaight freps of the Lord Jcfus, in the kingdome of his grace, till wee !hail all come to meete him in the kingdome of his glory.
