Show 5. WHAT ARE THE FUTURE PLANS FOR THE SITE? We hope to restore this most remarkable reI ic of Utah's Dixie's past and become the symbol of the past amid the new Bloomington which is Utah's most modern development. Here is a symbol of toil, of love, of history. This home needs to exist to remind all of us of the pioneers and their struggles that created our joys today. The home will be restored as carefully as possible with exceptions beiny made for modern conveniences. It will be a private residence furnished with period furniture and accessories and sitting on landscaped grounds exhibiting flora and fauna of the pioneer period. The fami lies who lived here and their contributions to the home shall be rejuvenated, geraniums will once again adorn the window sil Is and the once abundant fruit orchards shal I be planted again in the hopes that this home will serve as a landmark to remind all visitors that Bloomington has a rich and colorful past. |
