Show NUMBER: 22 FEATURE: Fire Sprinklers DATE OF FEATURE: A. There are no sprinklers currently located in the hotel. B. All common areas to be sprinkled. Pipes will be concealed above drop ceiling on main floor but painted out in high ceiling hallways. PHOTO #: 21,22,25,30 DRAWING #: 2,3,4,5 NUMBER: 23 FEATURE: Rear Building Exterior DATE OF FEATURE: 1925 A. Brick appears to be in good condition. There are some areas of damage from weather and lack of maintenance. Some mortar has weaken and needs to be repaired. B. Exterior brick will be repointed as required and masonry will be cleaned in accordance with National Park Service guidelines. Sure-clean restoration cleaner mixed with 3 parts water and 1 part sure-clean sprayed with less than 400 psi. A test patch will be completed on a secondary elevation. Mortar mix will be 2 parts lime, 3 parts sand and 112 Portland cement. Mortar will have the same configuration and color as existing. A new door opening will be exposed on the north side in order to accommodate car parking inside. PHOTO #: 43-45 DRAWING #: 14,15 NUMBER: 24 FEATURE: Rear Building Roof DATE OF FEATURE: 1925 A. The roof and structural trusses are in bad condition and unsafe for any use. Current roof leaks and retains large waters pools in some areas. B. NUMBER: 25 FEATURE: Rear Building Interior DATE OF FEATURE: 1925 A. The original Interior was designed for use as a lailai Court so it was built as one large open space. Through the years it has stayed relatively original and open. It is not heated or plumbed for water and sewage. B. The structure will remain open as its original construction intended.
