Show thoughts any occurrence of special goo fortune, I have enjoyed a perfect exhilaration. Almost I fear to think how glad I am In the woods too, a man casts off his years as a snake his slough, and at what perio soever of life, is always a child. In th woods, is perpetual youth. Within thes plantations of God, a decorum and sanctit reign, a perennia festival is dressed, an the guest sees not how he should tire o the in a thousan years. In th woods we return to reason and faith. There I fee that nothing can befal me in life,-no disgrace, no calamity, (leaving me my eyes, which nature cannot repair. Standing o the bare ground,-my head bathed by th blithe air, an uplifted int infinit space all mean egotism vanishes. I become transparent eye-ball. I am nothing. I se all. The currents of the Universal Bein circulate through me; I am part or particl of God. The name of the nearest frien sounds then foreign and accidental. To b brothers, to be acquaintances,-master o servant, is then a trifle and a disturbance I am the lover of uncontained and immortal beauty.
