Show BOARD OF REGENTS. January 14, 1907. The regular meeting of the Board of Regents of the University Regular Meeting. was held in the officé.of the Deseret Nationak Bank, at one o'clock P. m., Monday, January 14th, 1907. There were present Chairman Eiter and Regents Lund, Kingebury, Plummer, Kinney, Young, and Little. The minutes of December 7th, 1906 were read and approved. The question of having the Utah Gas and Fuel Company supply the cheaper Gas. University with gas was referred to Chairman Riter for investigation and report. The proposition of the Silver Bros. Iron Works 00., to purchase Foundry Sand. the knoll of molding sand from the University was laid on the table pending investigation of the extent 0 the sand deposit. A petition signed by W. P. Mifflin, Neil M. Judd, and Croydon W. Higgins, in behalf of the Associated Students of the University asking the Board to establish a book store in connection with the Book Store. n I University where students could abtain boons and school supplies at as antenuué. near the cost price as possible& The petition was, on motion, laid on the table as it appeared that there was neither money nor room that could be used for this purpose at present.
