Show By-Laws of the Board of Regents, of the UNIVERSITY OF UTAH, Adopted January 13th, 1902. On motion duly made, seconded, and unanimously carried the following by-laws were adopted, to-wit: 1. There shall be four regular meetings of the Board held annually in Salt Lake City, Utah, on the second Monday of January, April, July and October, at one o'clock p. m., at the Deseret National Bank, of which no notice is necessary; but the secretary may give at least five days' prior Meetings. notice by mail to each member. Special meetings may be called at any time by the chairman, secretary or any three members, by giving such notice as they deem proper. 2. Five members of the Board shall constitute a quorum for the transQuorum. action of business, and a majority of such quorum mag decide any question. 3. The chairman shall appoint the following committees: Executive, Finance and Land and Fund, Advisory, Building, Kindergarten, Domestic Sciene and such other committees as the Board from time to time may direct. The chairman may appoint such number on each of said committees as Committees. he desires, and may change the membershipkas he thinks proper; provided, that the Executive Committee shall consist of five members appointed by the Board, a majority of whom shall constitute a quorum thereof.
