Show This living facility is one that breathes, drinks, and rejouvenates itself. The building not only represents its contents, but teaches about its purpose. Along the same vein, the water research facility's architecture will itself will be a > cus of study and teaching tool. Similar to the Oberlin College building, the water research facility will seek to be a ' living' building with natural ventilation, waste, heating, cooling, and lighting systems. The focus will however, be centered on a sustainable water flows which follow hydrological cycles. In studying this building, I discovered a series of reveals and separations were created which served to not only display, but more to allow life to enter into and cycle through the building. The following series of models expresses this discovery of separation for life and energy flow. Corner Removed to Maximize Surface Area |
