Further Information In this letter to Robert G. McNiece, Sheldon Jackson is asking for more research on the need for Utah to have a Christian college. He needs the information in order to more properly ask for funding "for the institution," he writes. Sheldon Jackson played an important role in the founding of Sheldon Jackson College, the predecessor of Westminster College, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
