Show ROBERT KEITH " COTTY" ALLAN lik th commanding general and his adjutant and those people and th 1 T 11 2004 3 4, 05 and the artillery commanders-all of the chiefs of sections for the nth rmy w nt to Hawaii to get together and talk about what they were going to do. Anyway, I went back there (after my leave) and then we left San Antonio and went to Seattle and got on a boat and went out to Hawaii to plan the invasion ofF ormosa. Anyway, there were a lot of Japanese troops on Formosa. It was a big island. We had the troops to go there but they didn't have the ships to carry them. Lo and behold, when 13 |
