Abstract Grant Morrell (b. 1924) enlisted in the Marines' "Mormon Battalion Platoon" in 1942. He was a member of the signal corps in Hawaii, the Marshall Islands, and Clearfield, Utah. He served as a recruiter in the Reserve and at Camp Pendleton during the Korean War before retiring in 1954. 32 pages.
