Show JOH B. GODDARD EPTEMB R 30 2004 up to a place called Island Park and built a place up there. So we're spr ad all over. I told my wife, "We're going to sell this house. We'll spend a month with Suzie in I land Park a month with Mary in Montana, a month with Chris in Maui and a month with Kelly in St. George" (laughs). So, we don't need a house anymore. BEC: Oh, that's a great idea. JOHN: I don't know that they've warmed up to that idea yet, but I bet they'd do it if we wanted it. Well, I only have two grandsons, both of whom are married, and they both have two children each so we have four great-grandchildren. BEC: And are they close by? JOHN: You wouldn't believe this, but they're all right in this neighborhood. BEC: Oh, really. JOHN: Suzie lives down the street. Kelly and the great grandkids live over just a block. See, we developed the area, so they know it. They worked on it. So they know every house that's up here. BEC: That's nice to have them close. JOHN: It is. They're all close except Mary's in Montana and her house is in Salt Lake. She has a home up near the U., on Chandler Drive. It's close to the "U" on the mountain. BEC: Oh, yeah. JOHN: She lives there. My other son lives out in the Cottonwood area. They're not too far away. We have family dinners about once a month and they all come up here or we go down to Chris's. He's a gourmet cook. It's a close-knit family. We stay together. BEC: That's terrific. You really look like you're in great health, in great shape. 46 |
