Show 0 I OP: hat wa or th h n ymo n hich I n r g t t g n did I get a lot of ribbing from that (laugh ). BEC: Oh. So how did you and Bob get together? SOP: Well, like I told you I worked for the lady and I would go home to my mom and th n at night I had to go back to the bus. And I was waiting on the bus ride on Ninth South- JEA: It was by Grandma's house? SOP: Kind of close by Grandma's house. Ninth South and State Street, I think it was. Something like that. JEA: No. SOP: Well, he was not good looking, but later on I found out he was a real nice guy. But he looked kind of like a chimpanzee (laughs). BEC: (laughs) He's dead now, right? SOP: (laughs) Well, anyway, to make it short, he said, "Well, you don't want to have a ride?" "No," I said, "I'm waiting for my bus." He said, "Well, you ever feel like it, give me your phone number and I'll give you call." And I have to tell you, I was terrible lonesome when I first came 39 |
