Show LILLIO A D PETE Foreign Legion started! And saw only tim I d v r th n 1n But they really do wear those hats with the thing b hind th m that them! th un JOE: You mean the, they are called kepis. That s what they call th ir hats. LIL: K-E-P-I. JOE: Kepis. Yup. u LIL: I found them the other day in a crossword puzzle. I m a crossword puzzle nut! There's the French Foreign Legion. PET: Yeah, I know, but the town. t LIL: No, it wasn't, it wasn't too far from where we were. The reconnaissance corps they just had little cub planes is what they flew ... JOE: Oh yes! I read a little something about them! LIL: Yeah, we got it in the wrong place. That was in North Africa ... JOE: Oh, okay! LIL: And they would fly over the outdoor shower when the nursers were showing. JOE: Yes and do a little naughty thing there! LIL: I thought, "Well, what could they see?" That they hadn't seen before, probably. But I was fortunate, though. The lack of privacy was hard on some of the nurses. They had never been used to it. Even though I'm an only child and never had that at home, I lived in a dormitory at school, I'd lived in a dormitory in nurse's training, and so lack of privacy didn't bother me. But some of them, it was a little tough on them for a while. 19 |
